If your Acer Cloud Mobile S500 has been blocked, this little method applies reset to restore the factory settings. Often we block our mobile device by entering wrong 5 times more security pattern. When this happens we lose total access to applications and all our cell interface and the only way to solve the problem is removing the security pattern. To delete the security pattern of our device, we need to apply a method called Hard Reset. This method ensures clear all settings of your device and step deletes all security pattern that we have defined in our terminal.

There are some important things to handle before applying a reset method, which are:
- The hard reset deletes all the internal memory of the device, therefore, it is recommended that a complete backup of your important files. It is also advisable to remove the external memory device to prevent loss of important data.
- The procedure of hard reset uses a combination of physical buttons and need to verify if they are working properly.Battery must be charged up to 70%.
STEPS TO RESET:
- Turn off the device.
- Press Power button + Volume down for five seconds. When the Acer logo appears blank, release only the Volume Down button and proceed to press the Volume Up button until once again the Acer logo, but this time has to be green.
- The Reset menu will appear and down with the Volume button least until the "Wipe Data / Factory Reset" then we press Power to confirm.
- On the next screen down to the "Yes - Delete all user data" option and press Power to confirm.
- Once completed we will once again reset the menu and this time select the Reboot System Now option and press Power to confirm.
- Now just wait for the device to reboot one last time and I'll be done.
