How to Factory Reset LENOVO Yoga 3 10.0" WiFi
It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Warning:
This
will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your
device and any programs that have been installed. You should only
perform
a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your
device to an operational state.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
Hard Reset Via Settings:
- Your device should be turned on.
- go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset and then select Reset Phone.
- Enter safety code if required, and choose Erase Everything.
- Select OK to confirm.
Hard Reset Via Phone Buttons:
- Turn off your device.
- Press and hold Volume Up + Power key at the same time for a few seconds.
- Release held keys when you see a menu on screen.
- Press Volume Up to select option "Recovery Mode" and press Volume Down button to confirm
- Hold down the Power key for a short while, when the Android Image appears on the screen.
- Choose "wipe data/factory reset", Press Volume Down to select and Volume Up button to confirm.
- Scroll with Volume Down button to select"Yes--delete all user data" and Volume Up key to select.
- At the end select "reboot system now".
