It may be necessary to perform a factory reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
- Beofore starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%
Hard Resetting Through Phone Settings:
- Your mobile should be switched on.
- Go to Settings from the main Menu.
- Tap on General > Backup & Reset > Restore Factory Settings > Reset Phone.
- Your phone will be restart with factory setting.
- Turn Off your device.
- Press and hold Volume Down + Power button together for few seconds.
- Release the buttons when the Recovery Mode appeared on your screen.
- Choose "wipe data/factory reset" from the menu by scrolling with Voume buttons and confirm by Power button.
- In the next, select the option "Yes -- delete all user data".
- At the end select "reboot system now" to complete the whole operation.
- That's it.
This
will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your
device and any programs that have been installed. You should only
perform
a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your
device to an operational state.
