Performing Factory Reset on Nokia X

Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.


Warning: 
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.


Factory Reset Via Device Buttons:

- First of all you should turn off your phone.
- Press the power button light (or plugged in to the machine to boot) quickly using two fingers     simultaneously press and hold volume up button and volume down (volume up and volume down). If successful you will be in "Nokia system Recovery" and release your finger.
- At this point, the screen appears: "Volume up / down to move the highlight, enter the power button to select" - that is, press the increase / decrease the volume to move options; press the power button to select.
- You use the Volume Down key, select (Wipe data / factory reset), press Power to agree.
- Then use the Volume Down key to move goods (Yes - delete all user data), press the Power to agree.
- Select Reboot system now and you wait for reboot, that's it.
