Hard Reset LG G4c with Keys

Steps to perform hard reset through mobile Keys and Settings,steps to enter in recovery mode, wipe data and factory reset.

Important Instructions:
  • If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
  • As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
  • Before starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
Hard Reset Through Phone Settings
  • Your mobile should be switched on.
  • Go to Home and Tap on Settings.
  • Tap on General > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone.
  • Select Erase Everything if you want to clear all your data.
  • Select OK to confirm the whole  operation.
  • Done.
Hard Reset Through Phone Buttons

  • Switched off your phone.
  • Press and hold Volume Down + Power key until the LG Logo is appeared.
  • After appearing of  LG Logo, release the Power key but keep pressing the Volume Down and then press Power Key once more.
  • Now you will see the Factory Reset Menu on your screen.
  • Choose Yes or No by scrolling with Volume Key and Confirm with Power Key and wait for complete the operation.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
