Hard Reset Motorola A853 Milestone

Steps to perform hard reset through mobile Keys and Settings,steps to enter in recovery mode, wipe data and factory reset.

Important Instructions:
  • If you have an external memory in your Motorola A853 Milestone, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
  • As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
  • Before starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
Hard Reset Through Phone Settings
  • Your mobile should be switched on.
  • Tap on Settings from the Menu.
  • Tap on Privacy and Factory Reset > Reset Phone.
  • Select Yes if you want to clear all your data.
  • Done.
Hard Reset Through Phone Keys

  • Switched off your phone.
  • Press and hold Camera key + Power key and wait until the Exclamation Sign is appeared.
  • After this pres and hold Volume Up + Camera key to enter the Recovery Mode.
  • Choose Recovery option by scrolling with Volume Down and confirm with Power Key.
  • Press and hold Power Key just after you see the Android logo and then press Volume Up to see the Menu option.
  • Select the "Wipe data / Factory reset" by using the Volume Down and Power Key to confirm.
  • After complete the process, Reboot your device.
  • That's it.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
