Steps to perform hard reset Acer Liquid e through mobile Keys and Settings,steps to enter in recovery mode, wipe data and factory reset.

Important Instructions:
  • If you have an external memory in your Acer Liquid e, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
  • As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
  • Before starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.
Hard Reset Through Phone Settings
  • Your mobile should be switched on.
  • Tap on Settings from the Menu.
  • Tap on Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device.
  • Select Erase Everything if you want to clear all your data.
  • Done.
Hard Reset Through Phone Keys

  • Switched off your phone.
  • Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key until you feel vibration.
  • Release Volume Down and press Volume Up, you will see menu screen.
  • Choose Recovery option using Volume Key.
  • Now choose "Wipe data / Factory reset" by using the Volume button and Menu button to confirm.
  • Choose "Yes--delete all user data" by using the Menu Key.
  • Select "reboot system now" to restart the phone.
  • That's it.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
